"frequent fans" - Reviewed November 16, 2014
We were attending last night's performance with family and, as usual, we were delighted with Carlotta, and the other members of the group, Candace and Paul. The delicious food, especially the fruit and chocolate fondue!! Our faves! The wine we chose was from Chili, a type of Cabernet was mellow and we recommend it.
Ambience romantic and warm, service excellent and a true jewel that is hidden here in the High Desert. Live music on Sunday's with Mark on the guitar is easy listening and all in all, a pure and unexpected delight.
We have become regulars and urge others to give it a try!
"Too much light for music" - Reviewed November 16, 2014
While visiting family in the area, we came to the wine bar to listen to Living Proof on Saturday night. The wine and food were good. They could add fruit/grapes/dried fruit and nuts to their cheese plates to make it a little more complete. The trio "Living Proof" were performing; Carlotta Candace and Paul. All had wonderful voices. I enjoyed Candace the most. A great story behind the band's name. All 3 performers are cancer survivors. They changed the name of the band to reflect the challenge they all have faced. There could be some improvements in lighting and sound, but overall very entertaining.
